Gearing up for the 4th

So sorry that it has been so long since I posted. I know that there are not many of you right now but how boring to have gone two months with out an update. During that time we took off for a two week vacation to Alaska and it took up a tremendous amount of my time.

I have picked up a few new glitters for those glitter toes. One of them is a bubble gum pink and it is adorable. I think I have a picture around here somewhere. It might still be on my phone. Nope it appears that I have lost that picture. Oh well not a big deal. After coming home I managed to throw out a few ribs and that kept me from clients for a week now. But after seeing a chiropractor for a week I am up and running.

It is time to gear up for the fourth of July. Not next week but the week after my friend Wendy and I will be playing with our own set of nails. I love coming up with new ideas for fun fourth stuff.

In fact I just ordered a new gel product that has a beautiful collection for the fourth and I cannot wait to play with it. The product is T.E.N. Tuff Enough Nails. Their products look like a lot of fun and I am excited to learn how to use the product and see how it might work with my current gel system so that I am not wasting money.

Today is flag day, and my brother's birthday, so I hope for those of you who are patriotic that your flag's are flying proud. We certainly have flags up in our yard and window.

Found that Bubble gum pink picture after all, here it is folks:

Ta ta for now,

Ladybug glitter toes

This week I had the opportunity to visit my sister in Ogden. She is in the process of moving to Idaho Falls. But we took the opportunity to visit a beauty store up in Ogden and I was lucky enough to find a few new glitters that I currently did not have. Everything from a gorgeous green to hot pink and yellow. Even a purple for all those purple requests I keep getting. Now the other upside was that my sister bought a couple and had a few shades at her home that I did not have either. So I came home with 8 new glitters. I am very excited about them.

My sister-in-law came over this morning to have her glitter toes put on for sandal season and she chose one of my new colors called Ladybug. This is a more traditional orange red rather than a blue red. But my how it glitters in the sun. It is one of my new favorites. Check out the pictures and see how they turned out. Notice her cute toe ring. She happened to pick this one up in Hawaii while on her honeymoon.
Just a quick reminder that appointments are starting to pick up so send me those emails so we can get you booked.

Wow, its been a year and its Glitter Toe season again

Wow, I cannot believe that a year has passed since I touched this blog. I have to apologize for that, because it is GLITTER TOE season again. And were off.....

Even though it is snowing outside today it is still Spring and spring means the beginning of sandal season. Believe me I still wear mine any chance I get. I bought a pair of Naots last year and it was truly worth the investment. They give my feet total support and cut down on the swelling I have in my right foot and leg from an injury a year and a half ago. Not only that but they show off my beautiful "Moonstone" glitter toes.
This is a recent color I picked up by EZ Flow and what a colorful POP it gives to my toes. Here is a picture of them. I am sorry to say that it was taken with my camera on my phone and it is not the best picture. I have yet to figure out the best way of taking pictures of nails so that it shows them off to the best of what they can be. I cannot afford a professional, well my sister is one, but she lives in Kaysville.
It does give you an idea of what is possible in the way of using color on your toes. Even the most sedate nail people will go a little more funky on the toes. It is simply put: fun!
So all you crazy nail lovers give me a jingle either via email or cell and let's get you scheduled for some fabulous glitter toes.
Keep watching this blog as I will be updating with more photo's of what I have done over the past year with acrylic and glitter toes.
TTFN,
Jenn
